Last Day of February

The month of March has been long coming. Only 16 days until my Mikey starts heading home from deployment.

He left on our 6th wedding anniversary. September 10th 2010. March 16th is the magical day when he boards his flight. (It may be a day or two of travelling, which I can handle)

I'm exhausted. I just need a good SLEEP IN day to myself! I really don't know how ANY single mothers do this. There are no breaks, no one to help and I don't even have time to think about myself!

I'm ready for some help. I'm ready for some breaks and I'm ready to just have a shower ALONE.

Oh, and someone to help cook.

One of my goals while Michael was away was to cook a warm meal every day. Do you know how hard this really is? I never thought that just COOKING could be a challenge!

My husband received the Wing Commanders Coin (#281) from the colonel. I am so proud of him.





Our chances of moving back to Ontario this summer have GREATLY increased. I am very excited to get back with family and friends again.

Trianna's World Record!

Trianna was so lucky to be apart of a new world record!

Unofficially, (still counting) over 18,000 snow angels were made simultaneously on February 10 2011 at 1pm, breaking the previous record of 15,851 snow angels!




What else are kids supposed to do with all this snow?

28 days.

It's getting near. Michael is coming home in 28 days. My heart aches to see him again. Half a year. It boggles my mind. But we did it. It's been an emotional roller coaster and I am ready to put it behind me.

Even though he is still away, he made my Valentines day perfect. He made a video for me and had flowers delivered that day, and they are absolutely gorgeous.

I will be returning to Ontario for a couple weeks in April for my best friends delivery. I've been waiting for this day for many years, and I cannot WAIT to hold my godchild in my arms! And to help out of course! (Get the pull out couch ready Jules!)
She is due VERY soon.

We are PRAYING to get posted back this summer. My friend Tara, is pregnant too! She is due in September! She already has twin girls, and her husband is leaving for deployment to a very dangerous area when the baby is due. She is wanting me to be there. (If we don't get posted, I'll fly back again) She had her first appointment with her midwife yesterday and everything is looking great.

This weekend we are going on a sleigh ride/bonfire/hot chocolate awesomeness. It's free for deployed families and I'm hoping the girls will love it.. I know I might not, because I really don't like horses.

Aside from that... Nova Scotia has had more snow than I've ever seen in my life. It hasn't really bothered me all that much because the Military have been plowing my driveway for me! And the temperature outside has never really been COLD compared to Ontario. It's like a warm snowy blanket in the Valley!

In other news.... Trianna is receiving Student of the Month today. I'm so proud of her (since she's only been back to LCS for a month!!!)

Alexis is growing up so much. She is talking a LOT more now and her personality has shown through.

They both can be little craps sometimes, but they are perfect little girls, and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I am thinking of making a video everyday so Michael can watch it. I will upload it to my Jestwithkids account on Youtube and will link it here as well. I think it will be fun for him to see what our day is like without him.

I miss him so much. I can't believe it's been a month without him so far.
